The famous cappuccino tastes creamy, a little bitter and mildly sweet from the milk. Note that dairy milk is what's usually used in a cappuccino from a cafe or restaurant unless you specify that you'd like vegan milk. A well-made cappuccino has incredible flavor and texture. It has a bold coffee taste and some sweetness from the naturally occurring lactose sugar in milk. The Cappuccino usually consists of a simple espresso and two parts milk froth – a liquid part and a solid milk froth topping which usually rises slightly over the edge of the cup.
